Young People & Children

Children and Young People are recognised in their own right as being victims of Domestic Abuse when it has  occurred in their own home. Each child/ young person has an individual response to what they have witnessed and so we ensure that we have a range of courses to cover this. ReConnect and Play is for mums and younger children to have fun together and develop their relationship. ReConnect Together is for mums and older children which explores and strengthens their relationships. We offer 1-2-1 sessions for children/young people who have experienced abuse, these link in with some work with mum re how to support their child.  Escape the Trap is a healthy relationship programme for teenagers which we do either as part of a group or on an individual basis.

Our ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support) programme is designed for children struggling to manage their behaviour and emotions due to the abuse abuse they have suffered, these programmes are offered face to face on a one to one basis.
