Our ability to provide a bright future for women, young people and children, free from Domestic Abuse, relies on constant fundraising of all kinds.
From sponsored skydives and coffee mornings, to sports tournaments and fancy-dress parties, there’s a million ways you can raise money while having great fun at the same time.

1 in 4 women in Suffolk will be affected by domestic abuse in their lifetime. The Homicide Index data for the year ending March 2019 to the year ending March 2021 show that 72.1% of victims of domestic homicide were female. One in seven children and young people under the age of 18 will have lived with domestic violence at some point in their childhood.
Just these few statistics show why it is vital that the services Lighthouse provides are available free of charge to women, young people and children who need them.
Lighthouse provides safe supportive refuge and ultimately resettlement support, we also offer a range of therapeutic programmes and support services at our Women’s Centre. Our care and support is tailored to the needs of each women, young person or child, be it through our Refuge, Resettlement Service or Women’s Centre.
Women, young people and children receive a lifeline of support to enable them to recover from the traumatic effects of domestic abuse and be able to take the time to make informed choices and move on to a life free from abuse.
We rely heavily on our local community to help support the work we carry out and to ensure we can continue to deliver and develop our services.
