Play Worker Vacancy – Ipswich


Salary £11,032 per annum plus pension: Play work is very important aspect of refuge services provision.  Whilst women are being supported their children need parallel opportunities to recover and settle.  Your role will involve       planning and delivering a variety of play sessions across the age groups, you will provide assistance to the CYP transitional Worker and be adept at engaging in play, activities and holiday play schemes suitable for children in this period of transition.  26 hr contract fixed till September 2020.

Independent Domestic Violence Advisors are required to provide a high quality front line service to  high risk victims of domestic abuse working within a multi agency framework.

Key aspects of the role include managing a high risk case load,  engaging with victims,     assessing risk, safety planning and personal support.  You must hold relevant Safe Lives/WAFE Qualification or be prepared to work towards.
